Improving Nighttime Safety at Griffin Park Townhomes

Feeling safe where you live is extremely important. Griffin Park Townhomes is already located in one of the safest areas in Norman, but we believe there is always room to improve.

Over the past year, we’ve continued to invest in safety upgrades across the property. This included installing new perimeter fencing and security cameras, which added another layer of protection while helping us better monitor common areas.

Next Step: Better Nighttime Lighting

As a next step, we’re focusing on improving visibility at night—while being careful not to make the property feel overly bright or industrial.

We will be installing new exterior wall lights at each home. These fixtures have a more modern look and provide better illumination than the existing lights, which should noticeably improve visibility along walkways and entrances after dark.

To keep energy use and operating costs low, the new lights will be equipped with dusk-to-dawn sensors, meaning they automatically turn on when it gets dark and turn off again in the morning—no manual operation required.
